It’s been a busy time in my fabric world. I found a yellow denim that wants to be a new pair of jeans—so I need to learn how to make jeans that fit, with a true fly and metal zipper. I made a cami out of soft brown cotton. It is my toile and now I’m ready to make more. They will be a staple in my summer wardrobe. And another thing I am interested in mastering is bra making! OK—maybe not mastering, but doing well enough to never have to buy another RTW that doesn’t fit again. Plus, I just got a new book—see picture. I want to make T’s, dresses, swimsuits....

So that is what I have on my wishlist for myself, I also have a handful of client work. Yesterday, I was out on the porch saying goodbye to one client, when up pulled my favorite mayoral candidate, Julia Fahl....yay, I can be the tailor to the mayor (hopefully-on both counts).

Plus, there is a picture of the jacket I made Adrian for his B-day. I hope he wears it.
